Hurlingham Club Christmas Ball 2013.

Friday night was the annual inter-club Christmas Ball at the Hurlingham. The Hurlingham always do the most incredible events, and this one was no exception. There was a drinks reception, a three course meal, a photobooth, a silhouette artist, a ‘clubbing’ room with famous DJ’s The Roustabouts, and then there was a live band in the main room called Little Mammoths, which was fronted by Noah and the Whale’s bass and keyboard players. There was also a sleigh and lots and lots of Christmas trees! It was pretty epic.
I won’t say too much as to be completely honest, the champagne all went straight to my head and I don’t remember much. What I do remember was finally getting to bed at 4am…when the event started at 7:30pm! The theme was Victorian Gothic, so I was going to wear the dress I wore to the RAC Jubilee Ball, but my mum told me to go with the black one. Little did I know that it’s a ‘boob’ dress – until it was too late.
I snuck out in the middle of dinner to get this pic! How beautiful are the decorations!?
A huge huge thank you to the Hurlingham Club and Inter-Club group for organizing such an incredible event! I’m looking forward to next year’s even more now!
