The girls and I used to do brunch often, but lately we’ve all been busy and it’s been a
very long time since the last one. With 2016 already flying by (
how is it mid-Feb already?!), we decided it was time for a morning of
pancakes and
eggs. Chelsea is the easiest place for us all to meet, so we thought we’d try the brunch at one of my favourite bars;
The Botanist, on Sloane Square.
Catherine #2 and I got there before the others, so we ordered smoothies – we had Made in Chelsea’s (£5 each). The name is super cringe, but it’s the best. It tasted so good!
The others arrived and after a bit of a catch up we ordered food. I usually have eggs these days, but I decided to treat myself and go back to my old ways, so I had the Buttermilk Pancakes with Bacon, Maple Syrup, and Blueberries (£12), and my good ole Greek yoghurt on the side (I just love pancakes/waffles/french toast with Greek Yoghurt).
Amy opted for the Eggs Royale (£15.50)
Catherine went for Eggs Benedict (£15.50)
Sarah decided on the ‘Soft Shell Crab’ Benedict (£17).
Bella chose the Botanist Breakfast (£16), and Mel the Poached Eggs on Toast (£8.50) but they were sat down the other end so I couldn’t get a photo without being awks and passing the camera down. Both dishes looked incredible though, especially The Botanist Breakfast!The restaurant itself is light and bright and reminded me very much of
Granger & Co.
We had such a lovely brunch at
The Botanist; the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic! I think we’ll definitely be back – mainly because I really want the eggs benny now 😛

Ahhh…I love the Botantist, great buzzy atmosphere!
The soft shell crab eggs benedict looks interesting! I can never choose between eggs and pancakes when I go for brunch so admittedly, I always end up having two brunches! xxx

I am craving blueberries right now – I could devour those pancakes!

I love the Botanist. The one in Broadgate Circle is an entirely different atmosphere!
