On Friday a few friends and I went to the Polo in the Park at the Hurlingham, but I’ll do a seperate post on that tomorrow as I’m going back again today, so I’ll do a post on both days in one go. This post is about the after-party, or as they called it ‘Launch Party’, sponsored and hosted by the champagne brand Veuve Clicquot.Â
It was a fantastic night, full of glamour, sophistication, beautiful people and of course the famous ‘orange’ colour of Veuve Clicquot. The polo players attended, as well as Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The DJ’s were brilliant, and the dance floor electric.
My only dislike about the whole affair was that they had a BBQ…that you had to pay extra for. When you’re paying £75 for a VIP ticket (It was actually £100 but I got it discounted through a friend on the committee) you expect the food to be included…you don’t expect to have to pay extra for a buffet bbq that – let’s face it – isn’t exactly a four course dinner costing them a lot to put on. If anything they should have included the BBQ in the VIP ticket and made the ‘normal’ ticketholders pay extra, because actually, the only difference between the normal ticket and VIP ticket was that the VIP ticket allowed you to sit in a roped off area with your own private bar.
Anyway, without further ado, enjoy the photos!

We left the party at around 2am and headed to Vingt Quatre for food! The perfect end to a fabulous night! Sadly I didn’t get any photos of the dance-floor – we were having far too much fun!
The most amazing cooked breakfast ever at VQ! Their sweet potato fries also tastes AMAZING dipped in the runny egg!
Looks like you had a great time, hope you got to sample loads of champagne 🙂
It was awesome, and yes, we had lots of champagne 😉 hehe
